I took the ferry to Niterói from Praça Mauá and then a taxi cab to reach this location. I was excited to see this museum for the first time. The museum is white, the ramp is red, and the sky is blue, a great combination of two primary colors for a high contrast black and white.

The Contemporary Art Museum (Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói — MAC), a prominent tourist attraction in the State of Rio de Janeiro, is located in the city of Niterói, Brazil, by the ocean. The structure was designed by Oscar Niemeyer , with the assistance of structural engineer Bruno Contarini, and it was completed in 1996.
