Chasing Autumn foliage landscapes in the Eastern Sierras, a friend and I came upon this beautiful scene along Highway 4 near Ebbetts Pass. The cottonwood trees (genus Populous) were gloriously golden, and the reflection on the creek called my attention. Yes, there is Fall in California, and it is very pretty.
