The wrinkles of a Matilija Poppy metal print by Alessandra RC. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Artist's Description
There is a bush of Matilija poppy in the UC Davis Arboretum, at the margin of the lake. Every summer it blooms without failure. Romneya coulteri, also known as Coulter's Matilija poppy, is native to southern and Baja California. It grows in dry canyons in chaparral and coastal sage scrub plant communities. Against the black background, this white flower with orange color center pops with its delicate petal wrinkles.
